At Old Town, the spirit of paddling is alive and well. For over a century, Old Town's skilled Maine craftsmen have carried on the Old Town tradition of quality and performance that is at the heart of every boat we build.

The spirit of innovation led Old Town to introduce lightweight fiberglass versions of kayaks and canoes in the 1950s and '60s. And it has continued into the 21st century, they continually strive to advance the art of paddling through better designs and lighter, more durable materials, like today's three layer polyethylene and three layer Superlinear.

Guide Twin Otter
