Langford Canoe was incorporated in 1940, building traditional Cedar Canvas Canoes (Plank and Rib often referred to as "Cedar Strip") after 80 years of refinement our Traditional Cedar Canoes are sought after by enthusiasts world-wide. Hand hammered tacks, steam bent ribs and expertly planed and shaped planks are assembled on traditional moulds by expert craftsman who set the benchmark for fit, finish, and function.

We offer a wide range of hull shapes and lengths, each with performance that has been honed to absolute perfection, to paddle like nothing else. These amazing designs come in stunning Epoxy Clear-Coats, Custom Painted Schemes and traditional Canvas Covers with astounding finish work.

Authentic works of art that offer durability and function that garage built, stitch and glue/ kit-canoes simply can't. These heirloom canoes are made to order, and are meant to be enjoyed now and by future generations.

Well known for our Cedar Canoes Langford has also been a leading composite canoe manufacturer for years, being the first company to introduce disruptive technology to the canoe industry by building the first commercially successful Carbon Fibre hulls in the 1980's. Decades later we continue to push the envelope and set the benchmark by which all other canoes are measured. We offer a wide range of modern composite shapes that perfectly blend tradition with computer aided design and the most modern Marine Manufacturing Materials and Techniques available.
